Five weeks was one heck of long time to have one class...!

I had to drop Inktober suddenly at the final stretch last week for personal reasons (I know Inktober isn't massively consequential but I just have to clarify that it did end pretty suddenly there). If anyone happened to maybe be disappointed, apologies -- I actually have some I might post late? With the month having passed, though, I may leave them...

Don't forget that "The Animals of Penny Wood" is available to read for free down below if you haven't checked it out! It came out the 30th -- I should probably write a blog to mark the occasion! Hope the week's been kind to ye.

...Am I a moron for just now figuring out theres a literal gender binary here? It feels so plainly obvious now I feel like i must have mentioned it before ',:o

I feel like I should be all pretentious and say "oh no, foolish mortal, it's all simply numbers", but you're right, this is basically what I'm going for!! This is sort of ridiculous and clichéd to say, but maths can be a metaphor for so much, and that definitely includes gender -- especially gender. That's without any kind of degree in maths, of course, just an interest...

Although, come to think of it, my perspective's so warped that anything I make/see will relate to gender somewhat!

this is intense - so many layers of narrative!

Cheers! Honestly, my head can get pretty full trying to keep the story straight (and, for later parts, making sure that I come back to things), but I guess that's the joy of it :'D

Absolutely! You’re fee to make as big a mess as you like and see if you can make it sensible in the end. I have worried about the exact same thing on my comic sometimes - it’s about the journey though
