*traumatic exam memories resurface* Actually, I think the folks taking their Leaving Certs (the state exam here in Ireland) are basically done now, so there's timing! For some reason, it's covered extensively by our news outlets here, with apparently isn't the done thing elsewhere. How do you manage without state-sanctioned exam-dread, I ask?
It's been two years since I took my finals, and it's only now that I'm getting the ubiquitous Leaving Cert dreams that every generation can collectively commiserate about. I guess there must be some kind of fallout period of denial so that your brain has time to heal and vegetate a bit. Anyway, good to be part of another community!
